'Julie Andrews and I became great friends during Humpty Dumpty. She was playing principal girl opposite me and she was constantly in and out of my dressing room, investigating my make-up and saying: "What's this?" and "What's that?" She was a darn nuisance, actually, but such a nice kid. I was a sort of adopted auntie.'
