The film The Tommy Steele Story was first shown in May 1957, just eight months after his first record crashed into the charts. From a 'star overnight' Tommy has progressed via the Old Vic, more hit records, plays, and films to the pinnacles of Broadway, Hollywood, and international acclaim. He also plays football with Jimmy Greaves and Bobby Moore. Tommy Steele 's story is obviously far from finished.
