Osbert Lancaster , the cartoonist, discovered music through going to the Diaghilev Ballet.
His next enthusiasm was opera, for which he did numerous designs. He includes, among his choice of records, TOSCANINI conducting Verdi. STRAVINSKY conducting himself, as well as SOLOMON playing Mozart.
