This week the second of two programmes featuring highlights from performances given at the annual August Bank
Holiday Mecca for rock fans - the Reading
Festival. This was the 21st year of the festival, officially for jazz, blues and rock, with Ian Gillan heading the list for the third time, along with the Kinks, and Girlschool. Tonight you can hear performances by Steve Hackett with his new band, Trust (a leading French rock band) and Samson, who are a fairly new and successful British band.
