This week at Sheffield University with special live band The Teardrop Explodes.
Another new band to emerge from the Liverpool scene, having played at Eric's - a club which could be dubbed the 'new Cavern'. Founder members Julian Cope (vocals) and Graham Dwyer (drums) create a Doors-inspired sound. which the band call thoughtful rock, and the music press are labelling the 'new psychedelic'. Whatever the name it's successful, with their first single 'Reward' reaching the Top 30.
