'Within the past few years the silicon chip has come under a lot of hard criticism.... I feel that the silicon chip and all its benefits should be welcomed not rejected. Surely it is one of the most brilliant technological advancements since the wheel. So far it has been used wisely, for peaceful purposes. The public are looking on the wrong side when they say the chip is taking away their jobs; it is not, it is giving them freedom, and time to do what they want to do, not what they have to do.'
