The Golden Hour Our Tune and First to Last: the ELO Hit Fife
Imaginative, versatile, exceptionally talented - the ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA enjoys enormous success on both sides of the Atlantic. Built up largely by Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan from the idea of developing ' orchestral rock' music, the band boasts a line-up of musicians from either rock or classical backgrounds. Their virtuosity, however, is not confined to the studio alone-they are renowned also for their impressive stage performance. Each day this week you can hear one of their hit singles.
