Humphrey Carpenter - writer, musician and radio presenter - died in 2005 at the age of 60. For several years he'd been coping, in his own extraordinary way, with Parkinson's Disease, and had planned to stage a one-man show on the subject, called Shake It All About. It never happened, but instead Radio 4 has put together this tribute, based mainly on a frank and funny interview he gave as a way of helping "fellow Parkinsonians", for the DIPEx medical advice website.
