4: The Spy Who Changed his Mind
Narrated by Ren6 Cutforth
When Soviet KGB agent Kaarlo Tuomi trained and equipped for espionage, arrived in the United States at the beginning of 1960, he was unaware that the FBI had him under close surveillance.
But neither the FBI nor Tuomi anticipated that the Soviets would attempt to install nuclear missiles in Cuba. Or that the critical decision that Kaarlo Tuomi would have to make would affect the history of our times.
A series of six programmes based on the book KGB by JOHN BARRON. Adapted and produced by ALAN BURGESS
