Later this week a European summit will discuss direct elections to your parliament in Europe. In the meantime, you might like to talk to two of your representatives there now: Betty Boothroyd, MP, and Sir Peter Kirk, MP.
You might wonder who put them there, or whose views they represent. With seven different political groups, who do they line up with 'Always' Do they vote for Britain, or their political group in Europe? What power has the parliament? How well is it applied? Is it really possible to govern Europe with a part-time parliament? Are we ready for direct elections?
