The Hero who Played the Cornet by DANIEL KATZ : a comedy translated by KEVIN O'MALLEY from RENAUD ROSSET 'S French version of the Finnish original with Eleanor Bron as Vera Nerys Hughes as Lena and Leonard Fenton as Benno Benno , a Finnish Jew, is. because of his Russian origin, conscripted into the Tsar's army in the 1914-18 war.
