Paul Whiteman
A tribute to the man who for more than fifty years played a dominant part in the development of American popular music. As a violinist, composer, band leader, and impresario. Whiteman was an important influence on the careers of Gershwin, Crosby, and Jane Fro -man among many others. He was also a pioneer of the symphonic dance orchestra.
