Two years ago more than nine million viewers witnessed the first national IQ test. Tonight the third is held. The two-part live programme, presented by Anne Robinson and Phillip Schofield , sets a test which can be taken on the internet, via digital television, a scorecard or, most simply, with a pen and paper. Using 70 specially designed multiple-choice questions, it examines the five "intelligence areas" - language, memory, logic, numbers and perception.
As viewers take the test at home, six groups - models, white van men, gardeners, doctors, redheads and triplets - answer the same questions in the studio, where they are joined by celebrity participants. Continues at 10.10pm.
