A new series of films starring William Conrad as private investigator Frank Cannon, a big man who walks alone in a dangerous world.

Gordon Bell sees a young girl apparently being attacked by a man and goes to her aid. He hits her attacker, who falls and is then found to be dead. When Bell is charged with murder he hires Cannon to prove his innocence.
