Growing and cooking corn on the cob, lovage and dandelions, plus how the Edinburgh Garden Partners are helping Princes Street Gardens create an edible garden.

Cook Lydie Bocquillon shows Pennie how to make panfried hadock with lovage and tomato butter and also a salad with poached eggs, dandelion and crispy lardons - all cooked lived in the gardens of the BBC in Inverness! 

Gardener Nicola Singleton talks about growing lovage - a somewhat forgotten plant - and Lydie advises on the best uses for it in your kitchen.

If you think you've left grow-your-own too late this year then don't panic because there are still things you can plant up now!  Nicola will be giving tips on what you can plant mid-June and sharing her advice on growing corn on the cob with Pennie and the team.

The Edinburgh Garden Partners have joined forces with Princes Street Gardens to create an edible garden right in the heart of the city.  Find out how the project is going so far, what they're growing and who has volunteered to get involved.
