The three finalists cook a three course menu for a stellar cast of one, two and three Michelin starred chefs including culinary godfathers, Anton Mosimann and Michel Roux.

The three finalists are preparing to take part in what has become one of the most prestigious events in the culinary calendar - catering for the great and good of the restaurant world in a unique dinner that could make or break their careers and their chances of winning the Masterchef title.

The chefs' table challenge is the only time so many of the world's great Michelin starred chefs gather in one place. They have come to expect excellence, innovation and dishes from chefs that demonstrate their potential to be stars of the future.

Before they depart for the most intimidating cooking challenge of their lives, the three finalists must first demonstrate to Michel Roux Jr and Gregg Wallace that they have enough cooking flair to serve their own creations for the culinary superstars. If they fail, they will not be entrusted with their menu, but will have to work to Michel's. If they are successful it will be a great honour but a nerve-wracking prospect for Michel and Gregg!
