Tonight is the final of MasterChef: The Professionals. MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace, and two of Britain's leading chefs, Michelin-starred chef Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti, are one almighty cook-off away from ending their search and crowning the 2016 champion.
Over the last seven weeks, 48 of Britain's most ambitious and determined chefs have put their reputations on the line to battle for the competition's coveted title. Now only the three best remain. Tonight they cook for the last time, and just three courses stand between them and the life-changing title.
The three outstanding chefs, who have cooked some exceptional plates of food to reach the final, face one last challenge: to cook the best three courses of their lives for the MasterChef judges. In three hours they must bring together a starter, a main and a dessert, taking their culinary abilities to whole new level. As the tension builds, they must use everything they have learnt, all the inspiration they have gathered and all their talent and tenacity, to deliver flawlessly executed food, with mind-blowing flavours and stunning presentation. The pressure is massive and the stakes are high. The smallest error could cost the title, but to succeed means life could be changed forever when one of them is crowned MasterChef: The Professionals Champion 2016. Show less
