A talk by Donald MacKinnon , Regius Professor-elect of Moral Philosophy, University of Aberdeen
Professor MacKinnon argues that a clear understanding of the difference between the temporal and the eternal distinguishes Christianity from other religions and philosophies. He believes that an understanding of the problem of time is of the utmost importance to the Christian and to Christian society; and he concludes with a discussion of the treatment of the idea of time by contemporary theologians, and shows that it offers a new approach to the problems dividing Christendom
