William Kemp was a comic actor of high reputation on the Elizabethan stage, and acted in several of Shakespeare's plays. In 1599 he attracted much attention by dancing the Morris from London to Norwich, and, in the following year, published a curious pamphlet describing his feat. This dramatised reconstruction by Terence Tiller is based upon Kemp's own account.
