The Polish conductor, appears in this country for the first time this year in the concert to be broadcast from the Royal Albert Hall tonight. He has earned a high reputation on the continent for his readings of romantic works. His authority over the orchestra and the sobriety of his gestures have reminded foreign critics of Nikisch. For some years Kletszki was conductor of the Conservatoire Orchestra at Kharkov and travelled in Russia with the Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra
