from Howick Camp, Northumberland
Howick Camp is organised by the Northumberland Association of Boys' Clubs. There are approximately 250 boys in camp during Race Week, coming from boys' clubs in Northumberland and Durham. The camp is situated on the estate of Lord Grey. It is quite close to the sea and is surrounded by beautiful woods. It is five years since the camp was inaugurated, and this is the first broadcast they have given.
