' Net and Silk Fabrics at Tiverton '
Sir John Heathcoat Amory , Bt., Richard Woodward , E. A. Stone , A. E. Chillcott , and Lottie Tancock
The Tiverton net and silk business was originally carried on at Loughborough, Lines. In the Luddite riots of the last century much of the machinery was destroyed and the business was transferred to the West of England.
A large output of fabrics for women's dresses is now made at Tiverton. Those engaged in the actual production will describe their work in this programme.
