Commander J. M. Scott , R.N.
Commander Scott, who is King's Harbour Master at Plymouth, is well qualified to give the talk on Ships in the ' How To Look At' series. From his office in the Long-room, overlooking Plymouth Sound, he can see every day the largest liners in the world, and the greatest men-of-war. In his talk, he is going to explain to the ordinary listener how to tell, from the look of a ship, what kind of ship she is and what sort of a job she is likely to be engaged on.
