Tonight various episodes in the early history of this famous castle will be presented in dramatic form. Among them will be .the kidnapping by night of the Norman Lord of Cardiff in 1158, the visit of King Charles I to raise help in 1645, and the famous martyrdom of two priests in 1679. A. C. F. Beales , now Lecturer on Education at King's College, London, was for some years Lecturer on History at the University College, Swansea. During that time he took great interest in various aspects of the* history of Wales, and listeners will recall his study of Gower in a dramatic programme on January 14 last.
