A Dramatic Feature by A. C. F. BEALES
In this programme the romantic history of the Gower peninsula is dreamt and told by an old Gower man of today living near Oxwich Castle. A vision comes to him of the old Roman road at Loughar, of St. David on Cefn Bryn, of the Marcher Lords in the thirteenth century, of the siege of Oxwich Castle in 1557, of the Press Gangs at Port Eynon ini782,'and of the Spanish treasure-ship salvaged off Rhossilly in 1833. Most of the episodes are based on fact; others have given to great events 'a local habitation and a name '.
