The annual Festival of the Cardiff Schools has become one of the musical events of the year, and the children look forward to it as eagerly as their audiences. Performances will be given on four evenings beginning today, and four choirs of 600 children from all parts of the city will take part. The movement has the support of the Education Committee, and the Lord Mayor of Cardiff (Alderman John Donovan, C.B.E.) and the Lady Mayoress (Miss Kathleen Donovan) hope to be present on the opening night.
