Les Seager is a Welshman and his band consists entirely of Welsh players. In the North Wales Dance Contests, held in Llandudno in 1936, his band were runners-up for the championship, and the three Sealer brothers, playing saxophone bass, and piano, carried off three out of six individual prizes.
