Thomas Jones , C.H., Ll.D.
Dr. Thomas Jones, who was for many years Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet, today delivers the first annual Welsh National Broadcast Lecture in English. His experience of successive Prime Ministers and Cabinets ensures a lecture of absorbing interest. He is one of the few people who can speak with inside knowledge. Dr. ' Tom ' Jones, who is a native of Rhymney, has been a leader in Welsh educational movements. He was at one time Professor of Economics at Queen's University, Belfast. Another Welsh National Lecture, in Welsh, will be given early next year.
