After many successes at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Megan Lloyd gained an Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Music. There she won the Sir Edward Cooper prize (string quartet), the Lesley Alexander gift, and several medals. She has also been made a sub-professor at the Academy, and is at present cellist to the Bangor University Trio.
