At the piano, George Pulley
A story of a city by R. L. Mackie
Production by John Gough
Dundee, third largest city in Scotland, gives hospitality to the British Association this year from August 30 to September 6. Doubtless a number of those who propose to attend the Association think of Dundee in terms of jute and marmalade. Actually, Dundee has from two to three hundred industries of varying size, and a cultural record of some importance. Its position on the Tay is one of the finest that a city could have. Tonight's programme is intended to bring visitors to the British Association up to date in their knowledge of the city: its history, industry, culture, and amenity.
