This is the fifth programme in ' The Scottish Country ' series, which began with a broadcast from Mull on March 11. Tonight listeners will be given an illustrated account of how people live and enjoy themselves in the Moray Firth area. 
Cromarty itself is a grand old town notable among many other things for its associations with Hugh Miller and Sir Thomas Urquhart. It stands near the entrance to one of the finest natural harbours in Britain. 
The deviser of the programme, Dr. W. Mackay Mackenzie , a native of Cromarty, possibly knows more about the area than anyone else, and has made several valuable contributions to its history.
