' Is it possible to be like Jesus ? '
The Rev. Ronald Selby Wright and boys from the St. Giles Cathedral
Boys' Club
Some time ago the Rev. Ronald Selby Wright invited boys of the St. Giles Cathedral Boys' Club to write down on slips of paper any questions that troubled them in their acceptance of the Christian faith. So penetrating did these questions prove that Mr. Wright in turn submitted them to members of several Christian churches.
Questions and answers were later published in a book of the same title as this series of broadcasts, which has been based upon selected chapters. At the time the questions were asked, none of the boys was over eighteen.
Mr. Wright, minister of the famous
Canongate Church of Edinburgh, will deal in future broadcasts with such questions as ' If God is good, why is there evil and sorrow in the world ? ' ; ' Can you prove the story of the Resurrection ? ' ; and ' Can you be good without being a Christian ?
