Henry Playfair 's collection of original Scottish tunes, from which Harry M. Willsher has rescued several of the airs to be heard tonight, dates from the year 1700, and is full of old tunes like ' The De'il Stick the Minister ', ' The Laird o' Cock Pen's Scotch Measure ', ' The Berkes of Plunketty ', and so on. Concerts of' Music from the Scottish Past' are given approximately once every three weeks. Their popularity is now well established, and among those who have written in appreciation are Scottish musicians, housewives, and listeners living in foreign countries.
