This Thanksgiving Service has been organised by the Edinburgh Presbytery of the Church of Scotland, and will be attended by representatives of practically all denominations in Edinburgh. It is interesting to note that the Edinburgh Royal Choral Union, which leads the praise, received its royal charter in the first year of His Majesty's reign.
