One of Morecambe's outstanding attractions is the Winter Gardens, situated on the Central Promenade, overlooking the bay. The building contains the largest theatre in the North. Some of the artists who are broadcasting tonight will have been heard on the air rehearsing this morning. Those who were free to tune in at 12.45 will find listening to the performance all the more interesting tonight.
