A Holiday Conversation
Mr. and Mrs. ROCKLIFF
The approach of their annual holiday never fails to cause an argument between Mr. and Mrs. Blank, of Blanks-town, Yorkshire. On one point alone do they see eye to eye : they both want a change. Unfortunately Mr. Blank's idea of a ' change' has nothing in common with his wife's conception of the same word. According to him, all previous holidays have been spent sitting on the sands during the day and dancing in the evening ; according to Mrs. Blank, her husband has always spent his time fishing and playing bowls. This evening listeners will make their acquaintance and hear their conversation on a train bound for the seaside.
