A play for broadcasting by George Shiels
Cast
Produced by Henry McMullan
George Shiels is one of the leading contemporary Ulster dramatists, and in this play he has sought to make use of that much maligned quality, microphone technique, to the utmost.
Tonight's play is the story of a miser, and the dramatic circumstances that change the fundamentals of his character. As one of the highlights of Ulster radio drama, it will form a fitting conclusion to a Festival that has included the cream of 'the BBC repertoire of Ulster radio plays.
