Readings from the Memoirs of Sir Henry Robinson , Bt, by Adrian Robinson
When the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury declared by an Order in Council that the late Sir Henry Robinson , Bt., K.C.B., Vice-President of the Local Government Board for Ireland, was fit only for a skull cap and a bath chair, he felt keenly his want of occupation after an active life. And so he turned himself to writing two volumes of Irish memories. His son, Adrian Robinson , Assistant Secretary in charge of the Local Government Division of the Northern Ireland Ministry of Home Affairs, tonight begins a new series of readings from his father's books which will deal, among other things, with the early days of motoring in Ireland and the visit of King Edward VII.
