The Out' Besom Man from
County Tyrone
The last time Mat Mulcaghey journeyed into Belfast from his native Tyrone he arrived at the studios in Linenhall Street only to find the floors covered with sawdust and water trickling through many of the ceilings. Fire had broken out the previous night. Mat had intended telling you about a spot of bother in the poultry-pen at Ballymulcaghey, but the fire was too much for him and he discoursed on that instead.
That business about poultry at
Ballymulcaghey, however, is still troublesome. Mat suspects that a strike is in progress. Tonight he proposes to talk about it.
