by Henry Coleman from the Song School of Peterborough Cathedral
The organ in the Song School of Peterborough Cathedral (adjoining the Cathedral and formerly the chapel of Thomas a Becket) is probably unique. It is built on the extension principle and is enclosed in a swell-box that opens away from the player, giving the effect of a cathedral organ.
Dr. Henry Coleman has been organist and Master of the Choristers at Peterborough since 1921.
