This thriller, which concerns ghost-hunting, is one of the programme items which was necessarily postponed from the last week in January. All three players have had stage experience in Birmingham.

Harry Farmer

at the Organ of the Granada Theatre, Bedford
When he was twelve years of age Harry Farmer played at a concert at Walsall
Town Hall and was heard by the Parish Church organist who offered to teach him without fees on the organ at the church. At thirteen, he was playing regularly at services and had broadcast pianoforte solos twice from the Birmingham studios.
He won a pianoforte scholarship the following year, entitling him to two years at the Walsall Institute, the adjudicator being Dr. Adrian Boult. Subsequently, he won awards at the Midland Festival of Music held at Birmingham. His career as a cinema organist began when he was fifteen.

ORD HAMILTON AND HIS TWENTIETH CENTURY SEVEN

Ord Hamilton 's last broadcasts were in London with his full-size Band, when he took the place of Henry Hall (who  was away on holiday, or making his film), on four occasions. The present combination was formed especially for the Firbeck Hall Country Club, and has been engaged there since November last. The Club is on the Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire border, not far from Worksop. Merle Morgan, the vocalist, is a Yorkshire girl. Ord Hamilton discovered her last summer and persuaded her to turn professional after she had been once on the air with his Twentieth Century Band. She is attached to the personnel of the present Band, and under contract as hostess at Firbeck Hall Club.
