A Conversation between
G. M. BOUMPHREY and The Rt. Rev. E. W. BARNES (Lord
Bishop of Birmingham)
This conversation introduces a series of talks on town and country planning in the Midland region, and problems which arise in connection with it. Mr. Boumphrey, who is to give the series, is an expert on regional surveys and a well-known broadcaster. This will be the first broadcast from the Birmingham Studio by the Bishop of Birmingham, apart from appeals ; but his addresses have been relayed on several occasions. Dr. Barnes was appointed Bishop in 1925. He was formerly Master of the Temple and a Canon of Westminster. Since 1909 he has been a Fellow of the Royal Society.
