Shelsley Walsh in Worcestershire has been a Championship Hill for several years. It has two sharp corners in its course of 1,000 yards. For two years Hans Von Stuck held the record for the climb—42 4/5 seconds. It has been broken twice since, and in June last Whitney Straight did a brilliant climb in 40 seconds dead.
