Mr. Crew, who is sharing the weekly Midland sports surveys with Mr. George Liddell , is a famous referee. He has had charge of many International matches. As an amateur he played football for the North against the South in a trial match, and as a cricketer he was for several seasons the fast bowler of Leicester Nomads.
