(i) Socialism in One Country by P. H. VIGOR
Marx thought that revolution would break out in all the advanced countries, but after the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 the Soviet Union found herself alone and surrounded by hostile capitalist powers. Lenin saw the need for world revolution as a matter of immense practical importance. but his ideas were opposed by Stalin who put forward the theory of ' Socialism in One Country.' In the course of nine talks Mr. Vigor outlines some of the principal theories underlying Soviet practice in foreign affairs and industry.
