On July 5 of this year, on an island dedicated to St. Ninian and now connected to Mainland, Shetland, by a sandy spit, Professor Andrew C. O'Dell and his party from Aberdeen University came upon a cache containing twenty-five examples of metal work. Problems of classification of this important find have not yet been completely solved.
