Jack Payne returns to the studio for the fourteenth time since he departed from the B.B.C. Since his last broadcast, on March 31, he and his band have just completed a short and very successful Continental tour, in France, Belgium, and Holland. Later in the year they will be returning to the Continent for a greatly extended tour, which will mean their absence from England for at least six months.
