STORIES FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT-IV
The Deluge (Genesis vii, 10-ix, 17)

by JO VINCENT (Soprano)
HER English-seeming name, and the perfect ease with which she speaks and sings
English, make it difficult to believe that Miss Vincent hails from Amsterdam. There, and indeed throughout many parts of Europe, she enjoys a big reputation as a singer, and it was a gramophone record of her singing which made it clear that on the first chance that offered, she must bo introduced to British listeners, and she sang last spring in one of the Studio orchestral concerts of the Sunday evening series, winning golden opinions on all hands.
