CHARLES WAKEFIELD CADMAN is one of America's best-known musicians of the younger school. He is interested in the music of the American Indians, and an Opera of his, Shanewis, has been produced in New York. MASEFIELD'S Sea .Fever, a breezy ballad of the man who * must go down to the sea again,' has attracted several Composers. Of all the settings John Ireland's seems most fully 1 o achieve (in the last line of each verse) the sense of longing that the poem expresses.
