On one or two previous occasions we have found that the subject chosen for a Facet programme has been so widely treated by dramatists that a second evening was necessary for a comprehensive survey of the full dramatic field. From our last 'Facet' it may have been felt that daughters did not emerge in too favourable a light. Tonight, therefore, we show further examples of the different attitudes adopted by dramatists towards daughters, in the hope that the balance may be restored in assessing the relative merits of sons and daughters in family life.
